Have you ever sat in your house and really looked around? Do you see a house; kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways? Or do you see a home filled with love, memories and all things cozy? When I look around my house I see walls that are all the same color, big empty spaces, and LOTS of room for improvement. In 2 years, we've decorated, really decorated, one room. The nursery. I love going in there because it looks different. That can't be the only room in this big 'ole house that I love. I want to feel homey and cozy in every room. I want to feel like I've really made my mark on my house. I want a home, and not just a house. It might take paint, it might take simple organization, it make take artwork or photographs, I'm not entirely sure yet. One thing I do know is that I'm going to have fun finding out!
Today begins the journey of turning this house into the home that I envision.
